TCUK provides safeguarding policies, guidance, and resources for affiliated clubs, instructors, volunteers, and participants.
Clubs are encouraged to promote safeguarding awareness, follow good practice, and link directly to the TCUK safeguarding page to support a positive and safe Taekwondo community.
TCUK encourages all affiliated clubs, instructors, volunteers, and safeguarding personnel to promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive club environment.

For larger clubs, TCUK strongly recommends the appointment of a Club Welfare Officer (CWO) as safeguarding good practice.

TCUK strongly encourages safeguarding training and ongoing CPD for instructors, volunteers, CWOs, and safeguarding personnel through recognised providers including BMABA, UK Coaching, and NSPCC CPSU.
Additional safeguarding and welfare training is available through BMABA membership packages.
